One of my favourite things to do as a musician is play with other musicians, in a fun environment. Often jam nights are the best place to do this.
Why go to a jam night
There are many benefits, below are a few,
- Meet new friends
- Meet new potential band members
- Grow in confidence and stage craft
- Learn to play in new ways and styles
So below are asome of my favourite nights, go check email out!
The Hoxton Jam is a Jam night with a difference.
If you’re a musician just come down with your instrument/voice and we will soon have you on stage jamming with us. There’s is a guide set list below, but you’re welcome to play/sing anything.
(Due to the amount of Singers that are interested in preforming at the Hoxton jam, Singers and Vocalist please get in touch with us before you come down so we can help guarantee you get to sing)
The Jam is hosted at Troy Bar, 10 Hoxton St, Shoreditch, N1 6NG, every Wednesday.

Every Monday night it’s our famous OPEN MIC NIGHT which has been running since 2001. An open Session for Singers, Songwriters and Musicians of all kinds to perform original material (although the odd cover version gets sneaked in from time to time!!).
We have a piano and a great PA. There isn’t a house band, (it’s not a karaoke session)! You’ll need to provide your own accompaniment, be it guitar, didgeridoo or whatever.
Sign up time if you want to play is 6.30 pm.
It’s a busy night, so get here a bit earlier if you want to be sure of a spot.
The music starts at 7.00 pm.
